Here is where I’m supposed to tell you the sweet story of how I got into photography after college, because I moved to a new town and didn’t know anyone, started seeing the beauty of everything new when I moved somewhere unfamiliar , and fell in love with capturing people and moments around me. But how does that set me apart from every other person holding a camera?

Any camera takes a good photo these days, but that is only part of the equation. From the time that we first chat on the phone to the day of your shoot, I want to get to know you. What do you love the most about the ones closest to you? What do you cherish the most in life? Tell me about a great day you had recently and what made it great? 

I could put you in every Pinterest pose in the books, but do you know how those “poses” are created? By genuine interaction and getting to know you so that those aren’t poses, rather memories to look back on. So, let’s capture those moments together and the ones in between.

MY FAVORITE THINGS

I’m a total foodie… Okay, let’s be real, I’m extremely food motivated (dog emoji?) I have yet to meet a food I don’t like, but if I had to pick favorites it would definitely be Thai and Mexican, but my true love language is ice cream. 

I love adventuring. I solo backpacked in SouthEast Asia for a year, moved to Colorado cold turkey without a job or place to live and just figured it out when I got here. And on road trips I always take the longway even if it mean 8 hrs on a very bumpy road in southwest colorado in the pouring rain.
